Rob has tried to verdict cases involving will challenges, the valuation of estate assets, the interpretation and construction of wills and trust instruments, and tort claims relating to inter vivos transfers of assets. He also advises both fiduciaries and beneficiaries in matters relating to the conduct, duties and proper compensation of fiduciaries. He has lectured on topics in estate- and trust-related litigation.

In addition to his fiduciary litigation practice, Rob counsels clients on and litigates issues regarding commercial transactions, employment and separation agreements, nonsolicitation agreements, and corporate governance.

Immediately following law school, Rob served as Law Clerk to the Honorable J. James McKenna of the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland.

In 2012, Rob was initiated as a Fellow of the Maryland Bar Foundation, in recognition of his “outstanding dedication and contribution to maintaining the honor and integrity of the legal profession, the improvement and facilitation of the administration of justice, the work of the organized Bar of Maryland and civic leadership.”
