Vincent C. Burke, III is Of Counsel with Furey, Doolan & Abell, LLP. His practice encompasses general corporate matters, closely held businesses, commercial real estate, trusts and estates, financial institutions, employment law matters, and education. His clients have included universities, physician practices, insurance companies, financial institutions, commercial real estate service companies, the Archdiocese of Washington, and numerous other closely held Washington and Maryland area businesses. He served as Special Counsel to the Commissioner of Baseball from 1989–1992.
Prior to joining the firm, Vincent was a partner at Reasoner, Davis & Fox and Of Counsel at Reed Smith Shaw & McClay, both in Washington, D.C. He served as a law clerk to the Honorable Edward A. Tamm of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit from 1976–1977. From 1982–1984, Vincent served as a political appointee at the United States Department of Commerce in the Economic Development Administration and the International Trade Administration.
