Do I need to wear a mask when I come to your office?

Bethesda Place management is still requiring masks in the common areas of our building—the parking garage, lobby, elevators, and rest rooms—regardless of vaccination status, so you will need a mask as you are entering and exiting the building.

If you are fully vaccinated, you do not need to wear a mask inside our office. “Fully vaccinated” means that at least two weeks have passed since you received either your second dose of a two-dose vaccine or the single-dose vaccine. Of course, if you prefer, you are welcome to wear a mask during your visit.


Do I need to prove that I am fully vaccinated?

Consistent with Montgomery County guidelines for businesses, we are not requiring proof of vaccination.


Are all FD&A employees vaccinated?

We cannot disclose health information, including vaccination status, about our employees. Our return-to-work plan is based, however, in part on the fact that a high proportion of our employees will be fully vaccinated by June 14.


Will FD&A employees be wearing masks during our meeting?

In accordance with Maryland and Montgomery County recommendations, we are requiring any individual who is not fully vaccinated to wear a mask in our offices. We are also encouraging our employees to continue to wear masks in the office if that makes them feel more comfortable. So you may see FD&A employees wearing masks for a variety of reasons. If you are fully vaccinated, and the employee is fully vaccinated, and both you and the employee feel comfortable without masks, we are not requiring employees wear masks. We ask that you be mindful that each individual may have a different comfort level and that you not inquire into either the reason a mask is being worn or an employee’s vaccination status.


What if I prefer that everyone remain masked during our meeting?

We will be happy to accommodate that, no questions asked. Just let us know, please, in advance of the meeting.


Besides masks, what precautions are in place?

We have additional HEPA air purifier units in all conference space to promote air circulation beyond what the building provides. We continue to sanitize surfaces more frequently, even though the current understanding seems to be that the COVID-19 virus spreads primarily by airborne transmission. And we continue to encourage social distancing where appropriate.


What should I do if I am experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19?
